Eggs from laying boxes or chicken cages are automatically conveyed via a flexible conveyor belt to the central processing area, where integrated operations such as collection, conveyance, grading, cleaning, and packaging are performed.

Workflow of the Egg Collection Line

1. Laying and Initial Conveyance: After a hen lays an egg in her cage, the egg rolls naturally onto the egg collection conveyor belt at the bottom of the cage. The conveyor belt operates continuously at a very slow speed, gently carrying the eggs toward the end of the cage row.

2. Longitudinal Consolidation: Eggs from each row of cages are consolidated via a longitudinal conveyor belt onto a transverse conveyor belt at one end of the hen house.

3. Cross-Conveyor Transport: The cross-conveyor gathers all eggs from the entire house to an exit point outside the house, where they are ultimately transported to the egg sorting and packing area.

4. Elevation and Cushioning: Eggs are vertically transported to the sorting table in the egg sorting area via a central elevator. Cushioning rollers or foam pads are typically incorporated during the lifting process to prevent eggs from colliding with one another or falling.
