Air deflectors in poultry houses are adjustable, plate-like devices installed at air inlets (side walls, evaporative cooling pads, or the roof) or at the outlets of exhaust fans. Their function is to direct, buffer, and slow down the flow of cool or warm air entering the poultry house, ensuring even distribution and preventing direct airflow from blowing onto the flock, which could cause cold stress or create ventilation dead zones.

Winter: Set the angle to a smaller degree (nearly horizontal) to allow cool air to enter slowly along the roof, preventing drafts on the chickens.

Summer: Set the angle to a larger degree (downward) to direct airflow directly to the chickens’ activity areas, enhancing the cooling effect.

Result: A single panel serves multiple purposes, suitable for all four seasons.
