Its owner, Mr. Ye, who has dedicated over a decade to the industry, has witnessed the transformation from manual labor to intelligent farming. “The upgrade from initial tiered cage systems to small-scale stacked equipment was a pivotal step I took five years ago,” Mr. Ye reflected.
Mr. Ye reflected, “The introduction of Boye's four-row, four-tier layer housing system in 2023 marked a major leap from traditional shed farming to intelligent operations. Now, our new five-tier system is fully operational. As a poultry farmer, I'm steadily achieving my goals.”
The four-row, five-tier smart laying hen house features an automated feeding system that uses overhead feeders to evenly distribute feed.
“Feeding and watering used to be entirely manual labor—tossing feed back and forth was time-consuming and exhausting. Now, after setting the parameters, the equipment handles it automatically. It's efficient and hassle-free,” Mr. Ye remarked. “It truly is people managing the equipment, and the equipment raising the chickens.”
At the front end, an intelligent egg-collecting machine gently guides freshly laid eggs along a conveyor belt into the system. This gentle handling significantly reduces breakage rates while substantially cutting labor and time costs.
At the rear, a closed-loop manure removal system directs chicken waste directly onto a conveyor belt for sealed transport to outdoor processing facilities. This enclosed design minimizes ammonia diffusion, providing the flock with a healthier, more comfortable living environment.
Starting with an initial flock of 40,000 chickens, Ye Xibing's Poultry Farm in Xieqiao Town, Yingshang County, has steadily grown to its current capacity of 210,000 birds. The collaboration with Baiye will continue to drive the intelligent upgrade of this enterprise.
